Description:
Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (K3) dalam sebuah industri merupakan bagian yang sangat penting. Secara umum masalah Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (K3) di Indonesia masih sering terabaikan. Hal ini ditunjukan dengan masih tingginya angka kecelakaan kerja di Indonesia. Jumlah kecelakaan di Indonesia adalah yang tertinggi di kawasan ASEAN (Jamsostek, 2011). Menurut data International Labor Organization (ILO) pada tahun 2016, terdapat 1 pekerja tewas setiap 15 menit akibat kecelakaan kerja dan penyakit akibat kerja (PAK), dan setiap 15 detik 153 pekerja mengalami kecelakaan. Diperkirakan 2,3 juta pekerja tewas setiap tahun akibat kecelakaan kerja dan PAK. Lebih dari 160 juta pekerja menderita penyakit akibat kerja dan terdapat lebih dari 313 juta kecelakaan tidak fatal setiap tahunnya. Jika di hitung kerugian dalam frekuensi ekonomi, ILO memperkirakan lebih dari 4% GDP (Gross Demostic Product) tahunan seluruh dunia kerugian akibat konsekuensi dari kecelakaan dan PAK (ILO, 2016).
