PENGARUH KEBIASAAN MENCUCI TANGAN DENGAN KEJADIAN DERMATITIS PADA PEKERJA CLEANING SERVICE TAHUN 2019

ontact dermatitis is dermatitis that is caused by a substance or substance attached to the skin. Dermatitis is caused by factors that are in the work environment such as chemicals. This research is a quantitative study, with cross sectional approach. This research was c onducted in June 2019 with a total sample of 125 people using total sampling techniques. The variables in this study were hand washing habits and the incidence of contact dermatitis. The aim is to determine the relationship between handwashing habits and the incidence of dermatitis in cleaning service workers at the North Jakarta Mayor Office in 2019. Data collection uses instruments in the form of doctors examination sheets and questionnaire sheets. The results showed that workers with contact dermatitis were 65 workers (52%). Based on the analysis of statistical tests it is known that there is a relationship between hand washing habits with the incidence of contact dermatitis (p = 0.000) and the OR value is 3.129. To minimize the risk of contact dermatitis, it is recommended that workers practice hand washing after work.
