Description:

Income Smoothing is management measures for increasing or decreasing profits in order to gain stable from year to year with the aim, among others, opportunistic behavior of managers so that smoothing income made will improve the quality of financial reports produced artificially, which will also increase the value of the company. Design research using ekspalanatori causality, places manufacturing industry sector Food and Baverange. Source data using secondary data. The study population was the whole company Food and Baverage listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange and the sampling is done by sampling saturated. The unit of analysis is the companys Food and Baverage. The analytical tool used is path analysis with regression techniques Two-Stage Least Square (2SLS). The results showed that the partial profitability, financial risk, ownership structure, and cash flow does not affect the quality of the financial statements, but only partially profitability and financial risks affecting the value of the company. Simultaneously profitability, financial risk, ownership structure, and cash flows affect the value of the company.
