Selama lebih dari 10 tahun, industri cosplay Indonesia mengalami perubahan produk cosplay (costume play). Berawal dari cosplayer (pelaku cosplay) yang membuat kostum sendiri hingga berkembang menjadi cosmaker (costume maker atau orang yang pembuat produk cosplay). Banyak acara cosplay Indonesia diadakan tiap tahunnya membuat peminat cosplay berkembang dan menghadirkan industri cosplay. Produk cosplay buatan cosmaker pun mengalami fenomena perubahan dalam penggunaan digitalisasi seperti pencarian informasi karakter yang akan diwujudkan, teknik pembuatan sampai materialnya. Untuk itu dilakukan pemetaan diakronik berdasarkan media informasi cetak dan digital yang digunakan cosmaker dan cosplayer dalam pembuatan produk cosplay pada perkembangan industri cosplay di Indonesia secara fenomenologi dalam metodologi penelitian grounded theory. Dari data ini akan terlihat peran digitalisasi sebagai unsur pendukung perubahan produk cosplay buatan cosmaker di industri cosplay Indonesia mulai dari teknik pembuatan, material maupun media informasi

For more than 10 years, the Indonesian cosplay industry has experienced changes in cosplay products (costume play). Starting from cosplayers (cosplayers) who make their own costumes to develop into cosmakers (costume makers or people who make cosplay products). Many Indonesian cosplay events are held annually, making cosplay enthusiasts grow and present the cosplay industry. Cosmaker-made cosplay products also experience the phenomenon of changes in the use of digitalization such as searching for character information that will be realized, manufacturing techniques and materials. For this reason diachronic mapping is based on printed and digital information media used by cosmakers and cosplayers in making cosplay products in phenomenological developments in the cosplay industry in Indonesia in a grounded theory research methodology. From this data, the role of digitalization will be seen as an element supporting the change of cosplay products made by cosmakers in the Indonesian cosplay industry, starting from making techniques, materials and information media.
