Description:

Tujuan: Mengetahui hubungan indeks massa tubuh dengan tingkat fleksibilitas hamstring pada pemain sepak bola yang berusia 20 - 30 tahun. Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif berupa studi korelasi untuk menganalisis hubungan indeks massa tubuh dengan tingkat fleksibilitas hamstring. Total sampel sebanyak 45 orang pemain sepak bola rekreasi yang berusia 20 � 30 tahun yang merupakan pemain sepak bola dari Persatuan Sepak Bola Nanggung, Bogor. Alat ukur yang digunakan adalah menggunakan timbangan berat badan dan meteran untuk Indeks Massa Tubuh dan Sit and Reach test untuk mengukur Fleksibilitas Hamstring. Hasil: Uji Korelasi Spearman Test menunjukkan nilai p=0,123 (p>0,05) yang berarti tidak terdapat korelasi yang signifikan antara indeks massa tubuh dan fleksibilitas otot hamstring pada pemain sepak bola. Kesimpulan: Tidak terdapat hubungan yang bermakna antara indeks massa tubuh dengan tingkat fleksibilitas hamstring pada pemain sepak bola.
