PENGENDALIAN KUALITAS PRODUK KOMPONEN FOXING PADA DEPARTEMEN MOULDING DI PT. AGUNG PELITA MENGGUNAKAN METODE STATISTICAL PROCESS CONTROL (SPC)

PT Agung Pelita Industrindo merupakan suatu perusahaan yang bergerak dalam industri persepatuan yang khusus memproduksi aksesoris atau komponen sepatu untuk bermacam-macam jenis sepatu. Salah satu hasil produksinya adalah produk komponen Foxing yang merupakan sebuah komponen yang dihasilkan untuk sepatu NIKE jenis Air Max Plus. Berdasarkan hasil pengamatan yang dilakukan, diketahui bahwa proses produksi untuk produk komponen Foxing masih terdapat cacat produk yang dihasilkan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah melakukan pengendalian kualitas pada produk komponen foxing di PT. Agung Pelita serta mengetahui jenis cacat yang paling dominan pada proses produksi Foxing dan faktor penyebab terjadinya produk cacat menggunakan metode Stastistical Process Control (SPC) serta memberikan usulan perbaikan untuk mengurangi jumlah produk cacat. Dari hasil analisis didapatkan enam jenis cacat yang dihasilkan pada proses produksi komponen Foxing, jenis cacat yang lebih dominan adalah cacat sampah yaitu cacat yang terjadi karena adanya cetakan kecil yang tidak diinginkan pada bahan komponen Foxing, sehingga usulan perbaikan yang dapat dilakukan oleh PT Agung Pelita Industrindo untuk mengurangi jumlah cacat sampah pada proses produksi produk komponen Foxing adalah mengadakan sosialisasi pada operator untuk meningkatkan pemahaman SOP terkait pembersihan Mould.

From the results of the analysis obtained six types of defects produced in the Foxing component production process, the more dominant type of defect is waste defects, namely defects that occur due to unwanted small prints on Foxing component materials, so that the proposed improvements that can be made by PT Agung Pelita Industrindo to reduce the number of waste defects in the production process of Foxing s component products is to hold outreach to operators to improve understanding of SOPs related to mold cleaning.
