This study aims to find out how to resolve compensation decisions in land acquisition in Karawang Regency for the construction of the Jakarta Bandung fast train line and how to resolve the case of the remaining land affected by land in land acquisition in Karawang Regency for the construction of the Jakarta Bandung fast train line. This study uses a normative juridical research method. The results of land acquisition research for the construction of the Jakarta Bandung fast train line occur in problems related to the determination of changes in losses, which should be carried out by paying attention to the location of the land object to be acquired, the market price, so as to fulfill a sense of justice, especially for the owner of the land object, namely PT. Karawang Cipta Persada. This research resulted in land rights holders of PT. Karawang Cipta Persada filed a lawsuit to the Karawang District Court (Karawang PN Decision Number 37/Pdt.G/2018/PNKwg, dated June 26, 2018) and filed an appeal to the Supreme Court (Supreme Court Decision Number 473.K/Pdt/2019, February 21 2019) regarding the value of compensation and residual land which impacts land impacts in land acquisition. The two court decisions assume and ignore the sense of justice of PT. Karawang Cipta Persada as the holder of land rights to receive the value of losses. The Karawang Judgment Court and the Supreme Court Decision stipulate under article 35 of Law No. 2 of 2012 and article 67 of Presidential Regulation No. 71 of 2012, PT. Karawang Cipta Persada does not receive legal protection for the rights of shareholders to land as regulated in Law Number 2 of 2012, which does not get proper and fair losses.
