Artikel ini mencoba menjelaskan bahwa setiap perusahaan memiliki pengalaman-pengalaman komunikasi yang secara perlahan akan membentuk suatu iklim komunikasi organisasi. Iklim komunikasi dapat membentuk 2 macam karakteristik yaitu iklim komunikasi bertahan dan iklim komunikasi mendukung. Keberadaan iklim komunikasi suatu organisasi sangatlah penting bagi setiap perusahaan sehingga mampu mempengaruhi kinerja karyawan yang terlibat dalam setiap kegiatan perusahaan. Oleh karena itu hal yang perlu dipelajari adalah bagaimana pengaruh iklim komunikasi organisasi terhadap kinerja karyawan.
