Description:
Puskesmas atau Pusat Kesehatan Masyarakat merupakan sebuat unit
pelaksana teknis dinas kesehatan kabupaten/kota yang bertanggung jawab
menyelenggarakan pembangunan Kesehatan di suatu wilayah kerja, hal ini tertuang
dalam Peraturan Mentri Kesehatan Nomor 74 Tahun 2016. Puskesmas merupakan
fasilitas kesehatan (faskes) tingkat pertama. Faskes tingkat pertama merupakan
pelayanan kesehatan perorangan yang bersifat tidak spesialistik. Puskesmas
bertujuan memudahkan masyarakat untuk mendapatkan pelayanan kesehatan
dengan cepat baik dalam kondisi darurat maupun tidak.
