Description:

Alt. Description

The wound healing process consists of four phases, namely hemostasis, inflammation, proliferation, and cell remodeling or repairing phase. The healing phase and biophysiological function must occur, at a certain time, and continue to the next duration towards the optimal intensity process. The aim of the study was to determine the effect of moist care models with the time of wound healing in outpatient care. The study found 35 respondents mostly male (51,4%) wih ages between 51 to 60 years (42,9%). All respondents experienced diabetes mellitus (100%). The everage day of wound care were 13.09 days. From research obtained p value smaller than 0.05 (p=0.000). It can be concluded that there are significant differences in wound care using the moist method. Suggestions for further research are carried out research with more number of respondents so that research will be meaningful.
