Pelayanan kesehatan rumah sakit merupakan bagian dari suatu sistem pelayanan terintegrasi yang didukung oleh profesional pemberi asuhan (PPA). Perawat dengan lulusan pendidikan Ners sebagai salah satu profesional pemberi asuhan turut serta dalam membangun suatu kontinuitas pelayanan dan berfokus pada pasien.
