Description:

Twitter sebagai salah satu media komunikasi untuk membentuk kesan, citra memiliki keterbatasan dalam menyampaikan pesan yaitu hanya 140 karakter. Karena itu diperlukan strategi khusus untuk menyampaikan pesan lewat twetter. Penelitian ini ingin mengetahui strategi manajemen kesan pada twetter@jokowi dengan menggunakan metode analisis isi kwantitatif. Sampel yang diambil secara acak sebanyak 84 twetts dan has ilnya menunjukkan bahwa taktik Ingratiation paling banyak digunakan, yaitu 33 tweets (39,29%).

Twitter as one of the communication media to form an impression, the image has limitations in conveying a message that is only 140 characters. Therefore we need a special strategy to deliver messages through twetter. This study wanted to find out the impression management strategy in twetter @ jokowi by using quantitative content analysis methods. Samples were taken randomly as many as 84 twetts and the results showed that the Ingratiation tactic was the most widely used, namely 33 tweets (39.29%).
