Turnover pada karyawan generasi milenial sangat tinggi disbanding generasi
sebelumnya. Generasi milenial dinilai mudah bosan, ingin mendapat pengakuan,
kurang berkomitmen pada pekerjaan dan mencari berbagai keuntungan lebih yang
ditawarkan perusahaan lain sehingga tidak jarang dari mereka memiliki turnover
intention. Banyak penelitan dan artikel turut mengangkat permasalahan mengenai
turnover intention karyawan generasi melenial. Hal ini menjadi tantangan besar
dari pimpinan perusahaan harus memikirkan berbagai strategi dalam menyikapi
generasi milenial untuk tetap bertahan pada organisasi. Beberapa hal seperti
budaya organisasi yang kuat serta berbagai cara meningkatkan motivasi karyawan
diharapkan dapat mempertahankan karyawan dan mengurangi turnover intention
mereka. Turnover Intention telah menjadi tantangan besar pihak organisasi. Untuk
itu tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peran budaya organisasi terhadap turnover intention dimediasi oleh motivasi. Penelitian dilakukan dengan
survei yang menggunakan kuesioner yang disebarkan pada bulan Desember 2020-
Januari 2020 dimana responden yang digunakan sebanyak 200 karyawan pada
generasi milenial di Jabodetabek. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan Structural
Equation Model (SEM). Hasil penelitian pertama menunjukkan terdapat hubungan
antara budaya organisasi terhadap motivasi karyawan milenial. Ke dua terdapat
hubungan antara budaya organisasi terhadap turnover intention karyawan milenial.
Ke tiga terdapat hubungan antara motivasi terhadap turnover intention karyawan
milenial milenial. Selanjutnya, ke empat motivasi memediasi hubungan antara
budaya organisasi terhadap turnover intention karyawan milenial.

Turnover for millennial generation employees is very high compared to the
previous generation. Millennials are considered to be easily bored, want
recognition, are less committed to work and are looking for more benefits offered
by other companies so that it is not uncommon for them to have a turnover
intention. Many studies and articles have also raised issues regarding the turnover
intention of millennial generation employees. This is a big challenge for company
leaders to think about various strategies in addressing the millennial generation to
remain in the organization. Several things such as a strong organizational culture
and various ways to increase employee motivation are expected to retain
employees and reduce their turnover intention. Turnover Intention has become a
major challenge for the organization. For this reason, the purpose of this study is
to determine the role of organizational culture on turnover intention mediated by
motivation. The research was conducted with a survey using a questionnaire
distributed in December 2020-January 2020 where the respondents used were 200
employees in the millennial generation in Jabodetabek. Data were analyzed using
Structural Equation Model (SEM). The results of the first study indicate that there
is a relationship between organizational culture and millennial employee
motivation. Second, there is a relationship between organizational culture and
millennial employee turnover intention. Third, there is a relationship between
motivation and turnover intention of mill ennial millennial employees.
Furthermore, the four motivations mediate the relationship between
organizational culture and millennial employee turnover intention.
