Penelitian kuantitatif ini dilakukan terhadap 129 sampel blogger di Jakarta untuk mendapatkan gambaran faktor internal dan eksternal berdasarkan konsep motivasi Deci dan Ryan, dengan 66 item yang valid dan koefisien reabilitas 0.96. Dari hasil pengolahan data sampel dengan tingkat kesalahan 10 % diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa (1) Terdapat perbedaan siginifikant antara blogger yang memiliki Intrinsic Motivation, Ekstrinsic Motivationdan Amotivation (2) Terdapat perbedaan signifikan usia blogger yang memiliki Intrinsic Motivation, Ekstrinsic Motivationdan Amotivation (3) Terdapat perbedaan jenis kelamin yang siginifikan antara blogger yang memiliki Intrinsic Motivation, Ekstrinsic Motivationdan Amotivation
