Karya tulis ini dimaksudkan sebagai laporan atas Praktik Kerja Lapangan yang penulis laksanakan di MNC News gedung iNews TV dari tanggal 21 Oktober 2017 sampai dengan 23 Desember 2017. Laporan Praktek Kerja Lapangan ini membahas tentang apa saja yang penulis lakukan selama melakukan praktek kerja lapangan yaitu menjadi peran library pada program news di MNC news. Library adalah bagian pada stasiun televisi yang bertugas untuk menyimpan file yang sudah ada yang digunakan untuk kebutuhan produksi pada program stasiun tv. Penulis menyimpulkan bahwa peran librarian sangat penting untuk proses pratayang pada setiap program news yang ada pada MNC, karena librarian bertugas menyiapkan materi sebelum tayang di siarkan. Konsekuensi menjadi seorang librarian menyangkut tanggung jawab dan tekanan dalam pekerjaan, untuk menyelesaikan program acara tepat waktu.
