Latar Belakang: Diabetes millitus merupakan sekelompok kelainan heterogen yang
ditandai oleh kenaikan kadar glukosa. Laporan kasus periode Januari-Oktober 2012
di Puskesmas Kecamatan Kebon Jeruk Jakarta Barat sebanyank 366 kunjungan
penderita diabetes, sedangkan angka kematian sebanyak 33 penderita diabetes
mellitus, permasalahan ini perlu ditindaklanjuti khususnya untuk mencegah
terjadinya komplikasi, salah satunya adalah luka diabetik.

Case report period January to October 2012 at the Health Center of West Jakarta District Kebun Orange sebanyank 366 visits diabetics, while the death rate as much as 33 with diabetes mellitus, this issue needs to be followed in particular to prevent the occurrence of complications, one of which is diabetic wounds.
