Description:
Salah satu hambatan dalam pasar obligasi adalah adanya informasi
asimetri yang mengakibatkan munculnya masalah adverse selection dan moral
hazard. Dengan adanya peringkat obligasi, investor dapat menentukan
keputusan berinvestasi obligasi, sedangkan disisi lainnya emiten akan
memperoleh kepercayaan dari investor bahwa obligasi yang diterbitkan layak
dibeli dengan harga yang pantas. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui faktorfaktor
yang mempengaruhi peringkat obligasi dari sisi risiko industri dilihat dari
ukuran perusahaan (size), risiko finansial dilihat dari total debt ratio (TDR) dan
return on equity (ROE), dan risiko bisnis dilihat dari degree of leverage (DOL).

One of the obstacles in the bond market is the existence of asymmetry
information which can be effected in adverse selection and moral hazard. By
bond rating, investors will decide the time when the bond can be invested, In
the other hand, issuers can have credibility from the investors that their bond
worth buying in reasonable prices. The aim of these researches to determine
which factors influence bond ratings that referred from industry risks based on
the firm size, financial risks based on total debt ratio (TDR) and return on
equity (ROE), and business risk based on degree of leverage (DOL).
