Klinik Akreditasi merupakan Ujung Tombak dan juga bisa sebagai Ujung Tombok. Istilah tersebut didapatkan karena akreditasi akan menentukan keberhasilan suatu program studi dalam menjalankan standar-standar pendidikan sehingga memperoleh pengakuan. Namun, jika akreditasi tidak terlaksana dengan baik maka pengakuan tidak dapat diterima, kemudian pengeluaran yang diupayakan dalam penyelenggaraan juga terbuang sia-sia. Persiapan akreditasi minimal persiapan yang dilakukan adalah 3 tahun karena data yang dibutuhkan dalam akreditasi mulai dari TS, TS-1, TS-2, TS-3.
