Description:

The performance of a Wi-Fi network in a mall can be seen from the signal received by users of the access point (AP). This research was conducted to analyze the performance of Wi-Fi network and optimize by taking the case in Mall Sumarecon Bekasi by measuring the number of access points, coverage areas, Received Signal Strength Indicator (RSSI) using the Ekahau Site Survey application and checking connectivity using the Speedtest by Ookla. Optimization will be done by channel rearrangement and power level adjustment to minimize interference and blank spot areas. The result of the optimization after the reduction of interference and the SNR least then <7dBm on all floors in Sumarecon Mall Bekasi.
