Description:
Rumah sakit adalah Institusi pelayanan kesehatan yang menyelenggarakan pelayanan kesehatan perorangan secara paripurna yang menyediakan pelayanan rawat inap, rawat jalan, dan gawat darurat (Kemenkes RI, 2009). Fungsi utama rumah sakit adalah menyediakan dan menyelenggarakan upaya kesehatan yang bersifat penyembuhan dan pemulihan pasien. Berdasarkan Keputusan Menteri Kesehatan RI No.983/SK/MENKES/XI/ 92 tentang Pedoman Organisasi dan Tata Cara Kerja Rumah Sakit Umum, rumah sakit mempunyai misi memberikan pelayanan kesehatan yang bermutu dan terjangkau oleh masyarakat dalam rangka meningkatkan derajat kesehatan masyarakat. Meningkatnya kebutuhan masyarakat terhadap pelayanan
kesehatan mendorong rumah sakit untuk lebih meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan
kepada masyarakat.
