Description:

Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Ade Mohammad Djoen Sintang telah melakukan standar coding menggunakan ICD-10. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan pada dokumen rekam medis kasus persalinan diketahui bahwa masih ditemukan ketidaktelitian atau tidak tepat petugas coder dalam mengode diagnosis utama. Hal ini didukung dengan pengambilan sampel yang dilakukan dari bulan Januari sampai Oktober tahun 2019 sebesar 287 diagnosis ditemukan pengodean diagnosis yang tepat atau sepesifik sebesar 228 (79%) diagnosis, dan pengodean yang tidak tepat sebesar 59 (21%) diagnosis. Faktor-faktor penyebabnya adalah tulisan yang kurang terbaca dan ketidaklengkapan kode diagnosis, serta petugas coder kurang teliti, serta dituntut untuk kerja lebih cepat.
