Pasien yang menggunakan pelayanan kesehatan gawat darurat memandang bahwa UGD merupakan
salah satu pelayanan utama yang lebih cepat dalam melakukan tindakan pasien sehingga
menilai pengetahuan dan sikap perawat kurang baik dalam memenuhi kebutuhan dasar fisiologis
pasien yang berkunjung ke unit gawat darurat. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi
hubungan persepsi pasien terhadap pengetahuan dan sikap perawat dalam penggunaan pelayanan
kesehatan unit gawat darurat. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah cross
sectional (potong lintang) dengan pengambilan data dalam satu waktu. Sampel yang digunakan
adalah masyarakat yang sedang menggunakan pelayanan kesehatan unit gawat darurat sebanyak 80
pasien dengan teknik purposive sampling. Hasil Uji Chi Square didapat pengetahuan perawat
terhadap penggunaan pelayanan kesehatan unit gawat darurat dengan nilai p = 0.029 (p<0.05),
sedangkan sikap perawat terhadap penggunaan pelayanan kesehatan unit gawat darurat dengan
nilai p=0.001 (p<0.05). Simpulan bahwa penilaian masyarakat tentang pengetahuan dan sikap
perawat masih dinilai kurang, masyarakat yang menggunakan fasilitas pelayanan kesehatan gawat
darurat sebagian besar memiliki status false emergency di ruang Unit Gawat Darurat
RS.Kepresidenan Gatot Soebroto. Disarankan bahwa pihak rumah sakit melakukan program
peningkatan pengetahuan tentang penanganan triage dan waktu tanggap darurat dengan
mengadakan suatu pelatihan BTCLS sebagai aktifitas perawat dalam meningkatkan kualitas kinerja.

Patients who use the emergency health service considers that the emergency department is one of the
main services faster to take action so that patients assess the knowledge and attitudes of nurses less
well in meeting basic physiological needs of the patients who visit the emergency room. The research
aims to identify the relationship of patients perception of the knowledge and attitude of nurses in the
use of health care emergency unit. The method used in the study is cross-sectional (cross-sectional)
with the data retrieval time. The samples are the people who are using the emergency health care unit
on 80 patients with purposive sampling technique. Chi Square test results obtained knowledge of
nurses to use emergency health care unit with a value of p = 0.029 (p <0.05), while the attitude of
nurses to use emergency health care unit with a value of p = 0.001 (p <0.05). The inference that the
public assessment of the knowledge and attitude of nurses is still considered less, people who use
emergency health care facilities have largely false status of emergency in the emergency unit
RS. Kepresidenan Gatot Subroto. It is suggested that the hospitals do the program increased
knowledge about handling triage and emergency response times by providing a training activity
BTCLS as nurses in improving the quality of performance.
