Perguruan tinggi terutama para dosen harus mampu mengubah sistem pembelajaran dengan mengikuti pola
disruptive innovation.Disruptive innovation dalam perguruan tinggi diharapkan dapat meningkatkan mutu
pembelajaran yang berdampak pada peningkatan kualitas lulusan mahasiswa.Mahasiswa menjadi lebih
inovatif dan kritis dalam berpikir saat perkuliahan di perguruan tinggi.Mahasiswa yang sudah lulus, mampu
bersaing dalam mencari pekerjaan, bahkan di tempat kerja.
Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh langsung dan tidak langsung kepemimpinan
transformasional dan budaya organisasi terhadap disruptive innovation. Penelitian ini merupakan asosiatif
kausal dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif.Metode analisis data penelitian menggunakan analisis
jalur (path analysis). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh langsung kepemimpinan
transformasional terhadap disruptive innovation(β=0,230); terdapat pengaruh langsung budaya organisasi
terhadap disruptive innovation (β=0,537); terdapat pengaruh langsung kepemimpinan transformasional
terhadap budaya organisasi (β=0,445); terdapat pengaruh tidak langsung kepemimpinan
transformasionalmelalui budaya organisasi terhadap disruptive innovation (β=0,468). Kesimpulan penelitian
menunjukkan bawa disruptive innovationbukan hanya di pengaruhi oleh budaya organisasi, tetapi perlu
dipertimbangkan pula kepemimpinan transformasional.

The Higher education especially lecturers must be able to change the learning system by following a pattern
of disruptive innovation. Disruptive innovation in tertiary institutions is expected to improve the quality of
learning which has an impact on improving the quality of student graduates. Students become more
innovative and critical in thinking during college studies. Students who have graduated are able to compete
in looking for work, even at work.The research objective is to determine the direct and indirect effects of
transformational leadership and organizational culture on disruptive innovation. This research is a causal
associative using a quantitative approach. The method of analyzing research data uses path analysis. The
results showed that there was a direct effect of transformational leadership on disruptive innovation (β =
0.230); there is a direct influence of organizational culture on disruptive innovation (β = 0.537); there is a
direct influence of transformational leadership on organizational culture (β = 0.445); there is an indirect
effect of transformational leadership through organizational culture on disruptive innovation (β = 0.468).
The conclusion of the research shows that disruptive innovation is not only influenced by organizational
culture, but it is also necessary to consider transformational leadership.
