Perancangan ini bertujuan untuk memaparkan suatu inovasi kap lampu yang memiliki unsur budaya dari Tangerang Selatan dengan penggunaan material pipa PVC(polyvinyl chloride) yang sudah tidak terpakai. Adapun hal yang menjadi latar belakang perancangan ini yakni perkembangan suatu desain dari tahun ke tahun yang dikaitkan dengan trend. Namun,masih banyak dari inovasi produk tersebut yang kurang atau bahkan tidak menampilkan unsur budaya di dalamnya. Budaya memiliki peran sebagai ikon/simbol, identitas dari daerah produk tersebut diciptakan.Hasil perancangan berupa kap lampu dengan motif batik khas Tangerang selatan pada permukaannya. Motif batik Tangerang selatan berupa bunga anggrek.

This design aims to describe an innovation lamp shade that has cultural elements from South Tangerang with the use of unused PVC pipe material (polyvinyl chloride). The thing that becomes the background of this design is the development of a design from year to year associated with the trend. However, there are still many of these product innovations that lack or even not display the cultural elements in it. Culture has a role as an icon / symbol, the identity of the product area was created. The design result of a lamp shade with typical batik motif Tangerang south on its surface. South Tangerang batik motif of orchid flowers.
