Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar IPA berbasis STEM di kelas IV SDN
Serdang Wetan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan dengan
mengadaptasi model desain sistem dan pembelajaran Borg and Gall. Berdasarkan hasil analisis
masalah melalui obserwasi, wawancara, dan kuesioner lapangan menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran
IPA yang berlangsung di SDN Serdang Wetan masih minimnya bahan ajar yang digunakan dan bahan
ajar yang digunakan belum meningkatkan kondisi literasi sains dengan memecahkan permasalahan
dalam dunia nyata dengan menciptakan sebuat karya yang relevan dengan kehidupan, sehingga
diperlukan pengembangan dalam penggunaan bahan ajar yang sudah jadi dengan berbasis STEM.
Validasi produk melibatkan 4 orang ahli. Dalam validasi produk yang akan dinilai berupa kelayakan
isi, bahasa, dan penyajian menurut BNSP. Setelah direvisi kemudian diuji coba dalam skala kecil.
Hasilnya menunjukkan penilaian para ahli dengan rata-rata penilaian sebesar 90% dengan kriteria
sangat valid.

This study aims to develop STEM-based science teaching materials in grade IV SDN Serdang Wetan.
This study uses a research and development method by adapting the Borg and Gall system design and
learning model. Based on the results of problem analysis through observation, interviews, and field
questionnaires, it shows that the science learning that takes place at SDN Serdang Wetan is still
lacking in teaching materials used and the teaching materials used have not improved the conditions
of scientific literacy by solving problems in the real world by creating relevant works. with life, so it is
necessary to develop in the use of ready-made teaching materials based on STEM. Product validation
involves 4 experts. In the product validation that will be assessed in the form of appropriateness of
content, language, and presentation according to BNSP. After being revised it was then tested on a
small scale. The results show the expert s assessment with an average rating of 90% with very valid
criteria.
