PENINGKATAN PEMAHAMAN POLA MAKAN SEHAT UNTUK KELUARGA SELAMA PANDEMIK COVID 19

Low understanding of how nutritional problems and nutrition-related health problems arise increase the risk of people getting degenerative diseases such as stroke, heart disease and so on. This community service aims to improve participants understanding of the concept of balanced nutrition, especially for families during the pandemic. The activity was carried out in September 2020 and the method used for education was a lecture followed by a pre-post test and discussion. There is an increase in understanding of the concept of balanced nutrition but incomplete, especially with regard to the identification of nutritionally balanced foods and the benefits of balanced nutrition. The majority of participants were satisfied with the material presented. Intensive training involving practices such as nutritious food demonstrations can be carried out to further enhance a complete understanding of balanced nutrition
