Description:

The main problem in the production process of PT. Modern Gravure Indonesia is a delay in the production process due to data changes and inaccurate scheduling caused by slow delivery of information, this can certainly cause the results of the production process to be less than optimal and can cause losses because it cannot meet the specified targets. Therefore optimization on the scheduling system needs to be done in order to reduce these problems. In optimizing the scheduling system using Android-based mobile/smartphone application technology, where using this application can provide information scheduling data changes that are more effective and efficient. The purpose of this research is to build an Android-based mobile apps job order at PT. Modern Gravure Indonesia. In the development of this application using the Model View Controller (MVC) where MVC is a model, view and controller. Android-based Mobile Apps Job Orders are made using prototype development methods and use the Java programming language, Restfull API, and JASON to facilitate communication between servers and applications. The final results of the study after testing the Android-based Mobile Apps Job Order data obtained faster and more accurate, the data can be received even an average of less than 1 second on the smartphone of each production officer when running the application, without the need to manually print schedules such as which was done before, where this can reduce the use of paper, besides the easy-to-use display and the placement of the appropriate buttons make this application also very easy to understand in its use.
