PERANCANGAN KONSEP MASK SHIELD DENGAN PENERAPAN GEOMETRIC FORMING STYLE

Kehidupan pada masa pandemi harus terus berjalan bahkan beberapa orang masih harus melakukan kegiatan diluar rumah dan hal tersebut sangatlah beresiko terpapar virus COVID 19. kurangnya kesadaran manusia menjadi kendala tersendiri dalam mengatasi pandemi yang terjadi pada saat ini, salah satu penyebab meningkatnya kasus positif covid di dunia adalah kurangnya rasa kewaspadaan dan kesadaran diri terhadap wabah yang terjadi berbagai macam pencegahan dilakukan untuk meminimalisir penyebaran covid. Diantaranya adalah dengan menggunakan masker dan juga face shield namun dalam penggunaannya banyak orang yang hanya memakai masker saja tanpa face shield sedangkan face shield sendiri merupakan komponen pelengkap yang cukup penting yang berfungsi sebagai penghambat penyebaran virus melalui drop plate. Dengan menerapkan konsep perancangan produk yang mengabungkan face shield dan masker menjadi mask shield. Desain yang stylish, comfort, dan compact adalah salah satu solusi untuk meningkatkan antusias masyarakat untuk menggunakan masker. Konsep geometric forming style yang berkarakter sporty memberikan nuansa yang baru, menciptakan budaya praktis bagi masyarakat untuk meningkatkan antusias masyarakat menggunakan mask shield sebagai suatu budaya baru new normal.

By applying a product design concept that combines a face shield and a mask into a mask shield. A stylish, comfort and compact design is one solution to increase peoples enthusiasm for wearing masks. The concept of geometric forming style with a sporty character gives a new nuance, creating a practical culture for the community to increase the enthusiasm of the community using mask shields as a new new normal culture.
