Respiratory disorders are still very much underestimated by Indonesian peoples, respiratory diseases that often occured are acute respiratory infections or ARI. If there is respiratory distress and ignored, it would be worsen the diseases and become very dangerous for health, especially for children who are still vulnerable. The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between the quality of the physical environment of the house with the incidence of ARI in children under five in the work area of Puskesmas Rawajati 2 Subdistrict, Pancoran District, South Jakarta. This study used quantitative research methods with a cross sectional approach. With 70 respondents and non probability sampling technique and purposive sampling type. The results of the chi-square test showed that there was an effect of the quality of the physical environment of the house with the incidence of ARI in toddlers in Rawajati Pancoran, South Jakarta with a p-value <0.05 (0.000).
