Abstrak
Praktik keperawatan mandiri merupakan tantangan yang harus disikapi oleh profesi keperawatan. Saat ini
masih sedikit perawat yang memberikan pelayanan di praktik keperawatan mandiri. Kebutuhan akan pelayanan
di praktik keperawatan mandiri terus meningkat. Banyak faktor penyebab masih rendahnya minat perawat
untuk membuka praktik keperawatan mandiri. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor motivasi yang
mempengaruhi perawat dalam melaksanakan praktik keperawatan mandiri. Metode penelitian menggunakan
Non experimental yang bersifat deskriptif kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross sectional, menggunakan uji
analisis deskriptif untuk mengetahui pengaruh antara variabel independen terhadap variabel dependen. Sampel
diambil dengan metode Nonprobability Sampling yang kemudian dilakukan stratified sampling sebanyak 317
responden. Hasil penelitian didapatkan mayoritas usia responden 26-35 tahun (76.7%), jenis kelamin
perempuan (67.5%), lama kerja 2-5 tahun (76.7%), dan status pekerjaan sebagai tenaga kontrak (86.4%).
Faktor yang diteliti terdiri dari faktor intrinsik (harga diri, prestasi, kepuasan kerja, kebutuhan, dan harapan)
dan faktor ekstrinsik (jenis dan sifat pekerjaan, kelompok kerja, kondisi pekerjaan, dan hubungan
interpersonal). Hasil uji chi-square didapatkan ada pengaruh signifikan antara faktor intrinsik dan faktor
ekstrinsik dengan motivasi perawat (p-value = 0.05). Tidak ada pengaruh antara faktor kepuasan kerja dengan
motivasi praktik keperawatan mandiri (p-value = 0.11). Kesimpulan ada pengaruh faktor intrinsik dan
ekstrinsik kecuali faktor kepuasan kerja terhadap motivasi praktik keperawatan mandiri (p-value <0.005).
Saran perlu adanya dukungan dari organisasi profesi, praktisi dan profesionalis keperawatan serta pemerintah
untuk menjaga dan meningkatkan motivasi perawat dalam pelaksanaan praktik keperawatan mandiri.

The independent nursing practice is a challenge for the nursing profession. Currently there are just a little
nurses that in independent nursing practice. The nursing service need in independent practice continues to
increase. Many factors cause the low interest of nurses to do independent nursing practices. This study aimed
to determine the motivational factors that influence nurses in implementing independent nursing practices.
Research methods used is a quantitative descriptive, cross sectional, using analytic descriptive to determine
the magnitude of the influence of the independent variables on the dependent variable. Respondent were 317,
selected using nonprobability sampling method then made it a stratified sampling. The results showed the
majority of respondents aged 26-35 years (76.7%), female (67.5%), 2-5 years of work (76.7%), and
employment with contract statust (86.4%). The factors studied consisted of intrinsic factors (self-esteem,
achievement, job satisfaction, needs, and expectations) and extrinsic factors (type and nature of work, work
groups, working conditions, and interpersonal relationships). Chi-square result is a significant influence
between intrinsic and extrinsic factors with nurse motivation (p-value = 0.05). There is no influence between
the factors of job satisfaction with the motivation of independent nursing practice (p-value = 0.11). The
conclusion have the influence of intrinsic and extrinsic factors except the factor of job satisfaction on the
motivation of independent nursing practice (p-value <0.005). Suggestions that Nurse must be supported from
professional organizations, practitioners and nursing professionals and the government for the implementation
of independent nursing practices to maintain and increase nurses motivation
