Description:

Alt. Description

Corona virus or severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 is a virus that attacks the respiratory system. The government s steps in breaking the chain of transmission of Covid-19 include efforts to disseminate information related to the prevention, promotion and management of Covid through the Covid-19 handling health protocol. However, the lack of public awareness of the health protocol has caused the number of Covid-19 to increase, it is estimated that as many as 2.5 million cases of Covid-19 require hospital treatment in Indonesia and the mortality rate is 10%. Therefore, in the context of controlling Covid-19, it is not only carried out in terms of implementing health protocols, but also interventions with vaccinations as part of efforts to prevent and control Covid-19. The implementation of the COVID-19 vaccination at the Lion Air Group is a form of community service aimed at helping the government in breaking the chain of transmission of Covid-19 and accelerating the implementation of vaccinations for airport officers. The vaccination takes place for 10 days with 2 (two) dose stages (dose I and II distance is 28 days) with the type of vaccine given, namely Sars-cov II Biofarma (Sinovac). After the service activities, most of Lion Air Group airport employees/officers have received the COVID-19 vaccination.
