Alt. Description

Abstract In response to and responding to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) disease outbreak, more and more national governments are launching contact tracing applications to help prevent the spread of the virus. A substantial and highly controversial issue currently running is the application framework, namely centralized or decentralized. Based on this, the discussion is developing into the related technologies that support this architecture, namely GPS, QR code, and bluetooth. This research conducts a review or study of the above scenarios and contributes to the mapping of the geolocation of the current distribution. Vulnerabilities and research directions were identified, with a particular focus on bluetooth-based decentralization schemes.
