Pedestrian adalah jalur pejalan kaki atau bisa disebut dengan istilah footway. Pedestrian pada
wilayah Gatot Subroto perlu dikaji karena masih tertinggal dengan pedestrian wilayah Mega
Kuningan di Jakarta Selatan. Alasan Mega Kuningan menjadi pembanding karena Mega Kuningan
adalah contoh pedestrian yang baik untuk kualitas dan mutu.Sedangkan Gatot Subroto adalah jalur
protokol dan merupakan jalur yang lebar dan panjang. Maka dari itu, perlu ditingkatkan mutu dari
trotoar Gatot Subroto guna untuk kenyamanan dan keamanan masyarakat Indonesia maupun asing.
