Subject: | PERAWAT STANDARD SISTEM INFORMASI | Alt. Subject : | NURSING PATIENTS SUPPORT | Keyword: | Supporting Factors Nursing Care Nurse Expectation |
Description:
Systematic and planned hospitalized nursing care is provided to patients since admission to the treatment room until declared home. Nursing care provided by nurses, requires a supporting factor in the implementation. Nursing care should be given by nurses who have good expectations in implementing nursing care. The research design used quantitative, cross sectional method on 100 nurses who are willing to be respondent and have a working period of ≥ 1, taken proportional purposive sampling at RSPs Medical Room surgical hospital. Data were collected using questionnaires. The result of research indicate that the support factor of nursing care based on approach of clinical pathway related to management of nursing care is good (90%) while the supporting factors of nursing care based on other clinical pathway approach are not optimal, they are human resource management (24%), award management (14% ), equipment management (39%) and information systems (41%). Nurse expectation in nursing care system through clinical pathway approach related to nursing care information system (50%) and nursing care awards system (61%) still need to be improved. Provision of nursing care needs to have optimal support for the quality of nursing care continues to increase, nursing services become effective and efficient, nurse and patient satisfaction both cost-effective. Nurse expectation is still not optimal so nurse need to improve public image, self-concept and professional identity so that role in society can increase.
A factor supporting the implementation of nursing care through clinical pathway in general is not optimal and nurse expectation in the system of implementation of nursing care through clinical pathway approach should be improved. Provision of nursing care with clinical pathway approach should be supported by competent human resources, good nursing care standards, appropriate awards, tools and appropriate information systems. The role of nursing managers is crucial in supporting nurses so that the quality of nursing is good, patient safety is assured, nurse satisfaction is good, the length of care decreases and is cost effective.
