Description:

Study aims to determine between for step length and dynamic balance in elderly patient swith grade II OA knee conditions. The cross sectional study. The sample in this study were the elderly who visited Physiotherapy Poly at Mitra Clinic, totaling 65 people. Measurement of step length using metter line and measurement of balance using the TUG test. Results in this study have the average value on the long step variable is 100.77 � 2.887 and the average value on the dynamic balance variable is 25.62 � 2,435. Kolmogorov Smirnov normality test Test from the data of the two groups of samples obtained the value of p<α(0.05), while the Levene�s Test homogeneity test obtained data p = 0,553 > 0,05 has a homogeneous variant. Spearman statistical test Rank Correlation Cofffitien results obtained ρ value 0,000<0, 05 thereby indicating that and has a correlation value - 0,566, indicates that H0 is rejected, meaning that there is a relationship between the length of the steps with dynamic balance in elderly patients with grade II knee OA cases. so the conclusion there is a relationship between step length and dynamic balance in the elderly with knee OA grade II cases.
