Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi bentuk dan jenis partisipasi politik serta pengaruh faktor sosiologis, psikologis dan pilihan rasional terhadap perilaku pemilih pemula di wilayah Jakarta Barat dalam menentukan pilihan politiknya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan survei dan mengambil sampel sebanyak 500 pemilih pemula yang berada di wilayah penelitian yang ditentukan dengan menggunakan teknik cluster sampling. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis linear berganda, dengan mencari pengaruh faktor sosiologis (X1), faktor sosiologis (X2) dan faktor pilihan rasional (X3) terhadap perilaku memilih (Y). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor sosiologis (X1), faktor psikologis (X2) dan pilihan rasional (X3) berpengaruh secara simultan terhadap perilaku memilih (Y) pemilih pemula. Secara parsial, faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap perilaku memilih pemilih pemula adalah pilihan rasional, sedangkan faktor sosiologis dan psikologis tidak berpengaruh siginifikan terhadap perilaku memilih pemilih pemula.

The aim of this research is identify the forms and types of political participation as well as the influence of sociological, psychological and rational choices on the behavior of new voters in West Jakarta in determining their political choices. This study uses a quantitative method with a survey approach and takes a sample 500 new voters using cluster sampling technique. The data analysis technique in this study using multiple linear analysis, by looking for the influence of sociological (X1), sociological (X2) and rational choice factors (X3) on voting behavior (Y). The results showed that sociological (X1), psychological f (X2) and rational choices (X3) simultaneously affect the voting behavior (Y) of new voters. Partially, the factor that influence the voting behavior of new voters is rational choices, while sociological and psychological factors do not have a significant effect on voting behavior.
