IMPROVE GRADUATE ACHIEVEMENT BY EVALUATING TRY OUT QUESTIONS

Soal try out uji kompetensi APTIRMIKI disusun dan dikembangkan sesuai blue print PMIK. Output yang diharapkan adalah deskripsi kemampuan mahasiswa dalam menguasai kompetensi-kompetensi yang diujikan . Soal try out uji kompetensi tidak dapat mengukur kemampuan mahasiswa dengan tepat apabila Soal try out tidak memiliki kualitas yang baik sehingga tujuan try out uji kompetensi tidak tercapai secara maksimal. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji kualitas soal soal try out uji kompetensi oleh APTIRMIKI pada tahun 2018. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif yang bersifat deskriptif. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh mahasiswa tingkat akhir yang berasal dari 38 institusi pendidikan D3 RMIK yang berjumlah 2288 peserta try out uji kompetensi. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah sampel jenuh dimana seluruh anggota populasi dimasukkan sebagai sampel. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan metode dokumentasi dan wawancara. Teknik analisis data dengan menggunakan aplikasi instrumen analisis soal. Analisis dilakukan untuk mengetahui validitas, realibilitas, tingkat kesukaran, validitas butir, reliabilitas, daya pembeda, kualitas pengecoh. Hasil analisis butir soal : valid 42,85% ( 78) dan tidak valid 57.15% (102). Nilai reliabilitas soal try ou uji kompetensi adalah 0,45. Sebanyak 97 butir soal (62,7%) perlu dilakukan revisi . Sebanyak 48,33% (87) soal dalam tingkat kesukaran sedang. Distraktor berfungsi baik pada soal sebanyak 25% (65) sedangkan perlu direvisi sebesar 62.22% (88). Dapat disimpulkan bahwa kualitas soal tryout uji kompetensi APTIRMIKI belum cukup baik sehingg perlu dilakukan perbaikan .

The competency test try-out cannot measure students abilities appropriately if the try-out question does not have good quality so the goal of the try-out competency test is not maximally reached. The purpose of this study was to test the quality of the questions about the try out of the competency test by APTIRMIKI in 2018. The type of this research is descriptive quantitative. The population of this study was all final year students from 38 DIK RM3 educational institutions totaling 2288 participants who tried out the competency test. The sample in this study is a saturated sample in which all members of the population are included as samples. Data collection techniques with the method of documentation and interviews. Data analysis techniques using the application of instrument analysis problems. The analysis was conducted to determine the validity, reliability, level of difficulty, item validity, reliability, distinguishing features, quality of deceivers. The results of the analysis of the items: valid 42.85% (78) and invalid 57.15% (102). The reliability value of the try and competency test is 0.45. A total of 97 items (62.7%) need to be revised. A total of 48.33% (87) questions were at a moderate difficulty level. Distractors function well in terms of as many as 25% (65) while needing to be revised by 62.22% (88). It can be concluded that the quality of the APTIRMIKI competency test tryout is not good enough so that it needs to be improved.
