Penelitian ini memakai teknik analisis isi untuk mengetahui kecenderungan isu berita demonstrasi yang disiarkan Fajar. Sampel yang diambil adalah berita-berita demonstrasi yang terjadi di Sulawesi Selatan periode 2017. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif yang dijelaskan detail. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Fajar selektif menyajikan berita-berita demonstrasi terutama yang terkait kepentingan publik. Kasus sengketa lahan dan pembangunan infrastruktur adalah dua isu yang paling dominan dalam sajian berita demonstrasi. Isu di kota lebih condong sengketa lahan sedangkan di daerah pembangunan infrastruktur. Untuk letak berita, Fajar fleksibel dalam menempatkan peristiwa-peristiwa demonstrasi
