PENINGKATAN PENGETAHUAN DAN SIKAP MENGENAI PERILAKU HIDUP BERSIH DAN SEHAT MELALUI UPAYA PROMOSI KESEHATAN DI SEKOLAH

Based on Basic Health Research data in 2010, there was an increase in unhealthy behavior in schoolage children, namely smoking behavior in adolescents, lack of fruit and vegetable eating, indiscriminate snacking behavior in school, and poor and correct hand washing behavior. Unhealthy behavior in school-age children can result in several diseases such as diarrhea, Respiratory Tract Infections, Bird Flu (H1N1), and intestinal worms. Health promotion in schools is essential to creating hygiene and healthy behavior and a healthy school environment. The purpose of this health promotion is to provide information about hygiene and healthy behavior in schools to students of SDN Kebon Dalem Cilegon, Banten. Health promotion activities are carried out online using the Zoom Meet application with lecture and discussion methods. To find out the effectiveness of health promotion activities, students are given questionnaires before (pre-test) and after activities (post-test). Based on the post-test results, there was an increase in students knowledge about hygiene and healthy behavior in school. The follow-up plan of the implementation of this activity can be done in collaboration with all parties, namely the school, teachers, students, parents, and the community around the school to create healthy behavior and environment in the school.
