Latar Belakang: Sisa makanan merupakan makanan yang telah disajikan tidak dihabiskan oleh pasien sehingga terbuang. Sisa makanan pada pasien rawat inap di Rumah Sakit Hermina Daan Mogot Tahun 2019 sebesar 35,41%. Penelitian ini ditujukan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor yang berkaitan dengan sisa makanan pada pasien rawat inap di Rumah Sakit Hermina Daan Mogot Tahun 2019. Metode: Studi cross sectional dilakukan di Rumah Sakit Hermina Daan Mogot selama bulan Januari 2019. Sebanyak 70 responden dipilih secara purposive sampling dengan kriteria bersedia menjadi responden, telah menjalani perawatan minimal 2 hari dan pasien dengan diet biasa. Kuesioner digunakan sebagai instrumen wawancara. Seluruh data diuji menggunakan Kolmogorov-Smirnov. Hasil: Penelitian ini menemukan 50% sisa makanan tidak memenuhi standar, 61,4% responden sering mengkonsumsi makanan dari luar RS, 62,9% mengungkapkan rasa makanan baik, dan 57,1% penampilan makanan baik. Uji Chi-square menunjukkan adanya hubungan mengkonsumsi makanan dari luar rumah sakit (p value 0,049), tetapi tidak terdapat hubungan rasa makanan (p value 0,083), penampilan makanan (p value 0,091) di Rumah Sakit Hermina Daan Mogot. Kesimpulan: Terdapat hubungan signifikan antara mengkonsumsi makanan dari luar rumah sakit dengan sisa makanan. Disarankan membuat kebijakan pengawasan makanan dari luar rumah sakit oleh satpam kepada keluarga penunggu pasien untuk larangan membawa dan memberikan makanan dari luar rumah sakit kepada pasien dengan melakukan pengecekan makanan yang dibawa oleh keluarga pasien.

Background: Leftovers of the food is food that has been served is not spent by the patient and is wasted. Leftover food in patients at Hermina Daan Mogot Hospital in 2019 of 35,41%. The general objective of this study was to determine factors related to leftover in patients at Hermina Daan Mogot Hospital in 2019. Methods: A cross sectional study was performed during January in Hermina Daan Mogot Hospital. A purposive sampling was used to selected 70 patients. The inclusion criteria were willing to be a respondent, has undergone treatment for at least 2 days and patients on a regular diet. This study used an instrument in the form of a questionnaire and the data were analyzed using the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test. Results: There are 50% of food scraps that do not meet the standards, 61.4% often consume food from outside the hospital, 62.9% taste good food, 57.1% appearance of good food.Chi-square resultsstarted there is consumsing food from the hospital (p value 0,049). No relationship food taste (p value 0,083), food appearance (p value 0,091) at Hermina Daan Mogot Hospital. Conclusions: There was a significant relationship between consuming food from outside the hospital with leftovers.It is a recommended to making food control policies from outside the hospital by security guards to families of patients waiting for the prohibition of bringing and giving food from outside the hospital to patients by checking the food brought by the patient s family.
