Resiko yang berkaitan dengan aspek Kesehatan dan Keselamatan Kerja (K3) sering kali diabaikan oleh manusia dalam hal ini pihak manajemen dan pekerja. Hal ini karena bencana dalam bentuk kecelakaan, kebakaran, atau pencemaran belum pasti akan terjadi dan penuh dengan ketidakpastian (Ramli, 2010).
