FRAMING MEDIA MELALUI HEADLINE REVISI UU KPK PADA MEDIA INDONESIA DAN TEMPO PERIODE AGUSTUS- OKTOBER 2919

The revision of the Corruption Eradication Commission Law which will be ratified by the DPR raises polemic in the community. Many media discuss the revision of the KPK Law with various points of view. The media discussed with very much intensity about the case, as well as from different points of view. This study aims to determine the framing of the headlines made by Media Indonesia and Tempo regarding the conflict on the Revision of the Corruption Eradication Commission Law which involved the community, the DPR and the Government. In this study, researchers used descriptive qualitative methods. The model used is the Zhongdan Pan and Gerald M Kosicki framing analysis. The results of the research show that Media Indonesia takes sides with the Government in the headlines made. This can be seen from the fact that the sources chosen by Media Indonesia are more inclined towards the voice of the Government than the public. Meanwhile, the framing made by Tempo emphasizes the interests of the people. It can be seen from the sources that they chose not only the voice of the government but also the voice of the people.
