PENDAMPINGAN SOSIAL ART THERAPY UNTUK PEKERJA SOSIAL DI BALAI REHABILITASI SOSIAL ANAK YANG MEMERLUKAN PERLINDUNGAN KHUSUS HANDAYANI JAKARTA

The need for new and fun learning concepts is needed by social workers at the Handayani Jakarta Center for the Rehabilitation of Children in Need of Special Protection (BRSAMPK). The purpose of this activity is to provide social assistance in the form of Art Therapy as an effort to assist social workers in dealing with children who need psychological assistance. This social assistance is carried out in the form of fun activities around art, such as mural art and drama art. The main target of this activity is twenty social workers. Activities are carried out online because they are still in the COVID- 19 pandemic era. Methods of activity carried out by observation, interviews, socialization (lectures), and discussions. Observations and interviews were carried out before the pandemic as a start in analyzing the needs and situations of partners. This activity is carried out in two stages, namely Art Therapy social assistance through drama and mural art. As a result, social workers can explore various ways to explore the deepest emotions of children who need special protection (AMPK). Children will learn to express their feelings, causes of conflict, anger, guilt, sadness, and so on through acting and mural work. These pent up emotions are then eliminated or minimized by bringing them to a better awareness.
