Guru sebagai tenaga profesional bertugas mengajar, mendidik, dan membimbing, namun guru masih
kurang menguasai kompetensi pedagogik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan nilai
pengetahuan pedagogik bagi calon guru. Hasil dari penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan manfaat
bagi calon guru dalam memahami kompetensi pedagogik terutama dalam hal nilai-nilai pengetahuan
pedagogik berbasis filsafat pendidikan, psikologi perkembangan anak usia sekolah dasar, dan teori
belajar agar dapat menjadi guru yang profesional dalam mengajar, mendidik, dan membimbing peserta
didik. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Kesimpulan dari penelitian
ini adalah: (1) Pengetahuan pedagogik berbasis filsafat pendidikan bagi calon guru sebagai pedoman
dasar untuk menciptakan pembelajaran dan pendidikan yang ideal sesuai standard dan tujuan
pendidikan. (2) Pengetahuan pedagogik berbasis psikologi perkembangan anak bagi calon guru sebagai
pemahaman tentang perkembangan dan karakteristik peserta didik berkaitan dengan perubahan perilaku
peserta didik ke arah yang lebih baik sehingga tujuan pembelajaran dapat dicapai. (3) Pengetahuan
pedagogik berbasis teori belajar bagi calon guru sebagai pedoman untuk mengetahui variasi strategi,
metode, dan teknik pembelajaran yang cocok diterapkan sehingga siswa tidak merasa bosan dan dapat
mencapai tujuan pembelajaran.

Teachers duties as a professional worker are to teach, to educate and to guide. However, teachers still
lack of pedagogic competency. Therefore, this study aims to reveal the value of pedagogic knowledge
of the preservice teacher. The results of this study expected to contribute benefits for pre-service teacher
in understanding pedagogical knowledge based on educational philosophy, developmental psychology
of elementary school age children, and learning theory. This research was conducted using a qualitative
approach. The conclusions of this study are: (1) Pedagogic knowledge based on educational philosophy
for preservice teachers as a basis for creating learning and education in accordance with educational
standards and goals. (2) Pedagogic knowledge based on child development psychology for preservice
teachers as an understanding of the development and character of students related to a better change
in student behavior so that learning goals can be achieved. (3) Learning theory-based pedagogical
knowledge for preservice teachers as a basic knowledge to learn more about strategies, methods and
suitable learning techniques applied so that students interested in learning and can achieve learning
objectives
