Description:

Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan pemberian aquatic therapy dan land-based exercise terhadap peningkatan fungsional pada myogenic LBP. Metode: Penelitian bersifat kuasi eksperimen dengan two group pre dan post test design. Sampel terdiri dari 13 orang yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dan dibagi menjadi dua kelompok. Kelompok intervensi I diberikan aquatic therapy dan kelompok intervensi II diberikan land-based exercise. Aktivitas fungsional lumbal dengan menggunakan parameter Oswestry Disability Index (ODI). Hasil: Hasil uji hipotesis I dan II dengan paired samplel T-test menunjukan nilai p < 0.001 yang aquatic therapy dan land-based exercise berpengaruh pada peningkatan nilai aktivitas fungsional lumbal pada pasien myogenic LBP sedangkan uji hipotesis III dengan independent sample t-test menunjukkan nilai p =0.890 yang berarti tidak terdapat perbedaan efek antara aquatic therapy dan land-based exercise untuk dapat meningkatkan aktivitas fungsional lumbal pada pasien myogenic LBP. Kesimpulan: Tidak ada perbedaan efek antara aquatic therapy dan land-based exercise untuk dapat meningkatkan aktivitas fungsional lumbal pada pasien myogenic LBP.
