Saat ini teknologi informasi memberikan banyak perubahan dalam segala aspek kehidupan manusia. Informasi merupakan unsur pokok yang secara implisit melekat dalam konsep pembangunan yang terencana. Dunia telah beralih dari era industrialisasi ke era informasi yang kemudian melahirkan masyarakat informasi. Begitu juga dengan Dinas Kesehatan Kabupaten Tangerang (Dinkes Kab. Tangerang), memanfaatkan informasi dalam
pelayanan kesehatan di Kabupaten Tangerang. Dinkes Kab. Tangerang
memiliki 20 aplikasi yang digunakan dalam kegiatannya. 20 aplikasi tersebut yaitu, Website Dinkes, SIKDA Bridging, SIKAT (Sistem Informasi Kesehatan Terpadu), SIP Online, SIP Tenaga Farmasi, SITT (Tuberkulosis) Online, SIKESWA (Aplikasi Kesehatan Jiwa) Online, SIJAMJAM (Aplikasi
Jampersal) Online, DBD Online, LAPBUL Rumah Sakit, SIHA (Aplikasi HIV AIDS) Online, Aplikasi MONIC (Mobile Clinic), Surveilans Terpadu, Posko Pelayanan, Banjir Online, Aplikasi SDMK, Dashboard SIKAT, Dashboard LB3, Dashboard Jari Emas, Dashboard DHIS2.
