Self-Actualization is the highest need of human being. It includes a motivation to reach personal goal and growth. Abraham Maslow is one of the known expert on this subject, but it is not realized how the principles in Taoisme affected his views and beliefs. This writing aims to discover the bond between Taoisme as an east philosophy with humanistic psychology as a west philosophy, especially on the subject of self-actualization.
