Description:

Tujuan : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan pengaruh pemberian MWD, US dan contract relax stretchingdengan MWD, US dan mobilisasi translasi C0-C1terhadap pengurangan nyeri akibat kekakuan otot-otot suboccipital. Sampel :Sampel terdiri dari 20 orang, 25 sampai 55 tahun di klinik Fisioterapi Sasana Husada dan Klinik Trio Sada dan dipilih berdasarkan teknik purposive samplingdengan menggunakan proses fisioterapi mulai dari asesmen (pemeriksaan evaluasi), dan diagnosis yang sesuai. Sampel dikelompokkan ke dalam dua kelompok, yaitu kelompok perlakuan I, terdiri dari 10 orang dengan intervensi yang diberikan adalah MWD, US dan contract relax stretchingdan kelompok perlakuan II terdiri dari 10 orang dengan intervensi yang diberikan adalah mobilisasi translasi C0-C1. Metode :Penelitian merupakan jenis penelitian kuasi eksperimental untuk mengetahui efek suatu intervensi yang dilakukan terhadap obyek penelitian. Analisis statistik penelitian ini menggunakan uji wilcosondan mann-whitneydengan menggunakan program Statistical Program for Social Science (SPSS 12,0) untuk melihat efekperlakuan terhadap obyek penelitian. Hasil :Hasil uji mann-whitneymenunjukkan bahwa nilai P = 0,185 ( P<α=0,05 ) yang berarti antara kelompok perlakuan I dan kelompok perlakuan II tidak terdapat perbedaan pengurangan nyeri akibat kekakuan otot-otot suboccipital sesudah intervensi. Kesimpulan :Dapat disimpulkan tidak ada efek yang signifikan pada pemberian intervensi antara contract relax stretchingdengan MWD, US dan mobilisasi translasi C0-C1terhadap pengurangan nyeri akibatkekakuan otot-otot suboccipital.
