One of the rules for Termination of Employment in Law No. 13 of 2003 which is interesting to study, especially the reasons for termination of employment which is widely used by the company, namely for reasons of efficiency. Rules regarding Termination of Employment for Efficiency reasons in the Manpower Act No.13 of 2003 have a gap for companies that terminate employment even when the condition of the company is not closed but only because the company s profits have decreased, it is unfair because efficiency is often used as an excuse by employers to arbitrarily terminate employment. The formulation of the problem in this study are: (1) What are the legal consequences of Termination of Employment for Efficiency reasons? (2) What is the decision of the Supreme Court in case No. 881 K / Pdt.Sus-PHI / 2016 already in accordance with Law No. 13 of 2003 Pasa 164 paragraph (3) concerning Manpower? This research is a normative research, this type of research is normative juridical which is descriptive. Data collection methods in this study use the study of documents or library materials mainly on secondary data. The data obtained and collected both primary data and secondary data are processed by searching, identifying and studying secondary data related to the object being analyzed. Conclusion, is done by interpreting and discussing data that has been obtained and processed, based on legal norms, legal doctrines, and existing legal science theories
